Welcome to
Hawktree Golf Course!
The Bismarck Mandan area is currently ranked 29th "Best Metro Area for Golf" in the USA by Golf Digest (2003 - 2004), Hawktree Golf Course has
a lot to do with
this elite distinction. More of a work of art, words alone cannot
begin to describe this particular 7,085 yard par 72 golf course.
Among the highlights at Hawktree are the deep bunkers of
meticulously groomed black coal slag, dramatic elevation changes
that create awe inspiring
panoramic views, meandering Burnt Creek, and three pristine lakes.
Hawktree,
North Dakota's #1 golf course since its opening in 2001, is the work of master golf course
architect (and Dickinson, ND native) James Engh - Golf Digest's Architect of the Year
(2003). Hawktree was designed with four
teeing areas per hole, creating eight unique ways to play the
course. Engh's
design also incorporates numerous water hazards in the form of Burnt
Creek (8 holes) and three lakes (3 holes) to challenge even the most
gifted golfers.
